EDGAR VERA

Edgar Vera was born in Ensenada, Mexico, and immigrated to the United States in 1996 at the age of 7. He graduated from California State University, Long Beach, in 2011. Edgar financed his education by working as a manager at a McDonald’s in Long Beach every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Additionally, he volunteered Friday mornings at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. Edgar graduated with honors, earning a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.S. in Criminal Justice, with a notable GPA of 3.7.

Mia offers a distinctive viewpoint to the litigation team at Karns & Karns, having initially worked as an insurance defense attorney. With experience representing major insurance carriers, Mia gained insight into their approach to evaluating and litigating claims. Now, she advocates for plaintiffs who have suffered injuries or damages due to the negligence of others, taking on the same insurance companies she once defended.
TIMOTHY MITCHELL

Timothy Mitchell hails from Los Angeles, having grown up in Sylmar, California. From a young age, Timothy aspired to become a trial attorney. During high school, he volunteered at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office as a clerk. While his uncle studied for the bar exam, Timothy would delve into case law books to gain insight. As a child, he often accompanied his uncle to observe his work as a District Attorney in San Fernando.

Andre is a native of Los Angeles, California, and was raised by a single mother who worked tirelessly to provide for him and his older sister. Growing up in this environment taught him the importance of perseverance and the value of hard work.
Recently, Andre was honored as a Top 40 Under 40 trial attorney by The National Black Lawyers. Despite this recognition, he remains committed to championing for his clients, consistently securing millions in recoveries on their behalf.
LUIS ESPINOZA

Luis obtained his bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and history from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014. He later earned his Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School in 2017. Throughout his academic journey at both institutions, Luis volunteered with various non-profit organizations dedicated to advocating for immigrants and aiding victims of human trafficking and other violent crimes.
